We’re really excited to officially announce our current project: Allan Poe’s Nightmare. We’ve been working for quite a long time in this project, but since there was always a more important project to do for our clients, the work on this project wasn’t continuous but finally here it is! It’s a mobile game based on the stories written by Allan Poe, where the players will have to immerse themselves in the nightmares of one of the most influential writers of all time and travel to a kingdom of madness and dangers. We intend to launch it in fall 2018.

In order to achieve the goal of creating a world of nightmare, we’ve resorted to the Steampunk aesthetic and the idea of creating an alternative world in 1880, wait! … I know what you’re thinking … Poe died in 1949 … this is one of the mysteries you’ll have to discover.

In Gametopia, we are great Allan Poe’s stories lovers. Without any doubt, he was a writer who was ahead of his time. We’re also passionate about the Steampunk aesthetic and all what it represents in the imagination, not forgetting the terrifying stories, but very funny ones, of the Penny dreadful literary genre where we wanted to frame this game.

We’ll talk about this and much more on the game website and its blog, where we’re going to publish some parts of the development of ‘Allan Poe’s Nightmare’. There, we’ll talk also about Allan Poe and the Steampunk world in general.

We would like to thank everyone who have supported us with this project. The moment to play the game is getting closer!
